The ceiling in the kitchen is leaking and well, not there. That was the big excitement for me this week. Currently I’m waiting for the plumber to come down and clean up the mess and also stop the leak. I really hope that he comes soon so I can take my walk and get on with my day without having this on my mind. Other than leaky pipes, I’m seeing Taking Back Sunday tonight. I haven’t listened to them in a minute – no time to enjoy music when you’re entire day is either writing about music that’s for review or needing silence to write something else to save rent money.
Speaking of, I decided that I’ll no longer apply to jobs that aren’t writing based. There’s no point because I’m not interested in doing anything but. I like being considered a blogger and that’s it. I don’t want to do something else and then have writing be considered a hobby. I think people like that are boring. Like, if you love something – do it. Take a chance and make it what you do for a living. You see, what’s the point of working for years to retire when you’re old and too tired to enjoy your savings? So living in the moment, the here and now – that’s what I really have to start focusing on. I advise you do the same. Work to live don’t live to work.
