The CO: Keep It Together

the-co-keep-it-together-reviewUsually I don’t crash and burn soon after I leave my bed in the morning, but I quick afternoon nap overcame me and left The CO’s Keep It Together playing as I decided to snooze a bit. It’s not their fault. I’m the one that stayed up until 3am watching Broad City. So don’t be fooled and make sure to stay in the know about this band, one that’s probably got Vh1 on hold.

Right away Keep It Together put out a vibe – one that screamed from the soundtrack of a Rachel McAdams’ drama. You could hear “I Will Be Strong” playing throughout the trailer as slow motion running in the rain and dramatic head turns were presented as the next must-see. Two of the best tracks are the piano driven ones, “Keep It Together” that was stronger than its brother “Two Against One” but they both held their own. I wasn’t so keen on the ones a couple that played things too calm, “How To Say Goodbye” and “Crazy.”

Overall if you’re a fan of bands like Kris Allen and One Republic should really invest some time in The CO. I have a feeling the vocals are Idol quality and the music sits with that AC rock crowd. If this sounds like you, then by all means check out Keep It Together, out now. Now I think it’s time for another nap…Just kidding, or am I?
