Not one to head out to many shows because I’ve realized they just cost way more than my bank account wants to let me spend – I didn’t go to that many this year. However, I did go to enough to think back and pick a handful that make me wish I could’ve gone to more.
5. 94.7 The Wave’s Soulful Summer at The Greek

Blackstreet singing “No Diggity” live is always a great time. Plus, it was the first show me and my boyfriend went to together. He’s not one for shows, but we all enjoyed laughing at the drunk women dancing, or at least trying to.
4. Jack’s Mannequin Everything in Transit at House of Blues Anaheim

Okay, so this hasn’t happened yet and it may be a disaster – very unlikely – but I can’t help but feel that this will be my number one. Since it hasn’t happened yet though, I will leave it here.
3. New Found Glory at The Wiltern

It hurt my heart that I was only able to go to one of these since I usually do at least a few, but thankfully I got one night and they played my two favorite songs ❤
2. Taste of Chaos at San Manuel Amphitheater

28-year-old me was slightly confused when this lineup was announced. Was it a dream, did time travel become a thing? It was all too real and while my back hated me for standing there for like eight or so hours to see Finch, The Used, The All-American Rejects and many others – I’d possibly do it again.
1. Good Charlotte at The Troubadour

Speaking of time machines…as silly as some of their songs can be, I love this band. They’ll always hold a special place in my 14-year-old heart.
