When Jewel came out I would sit in my mom’s den and try and sing like her – fact. I was outside the night David Cook won American Idol – fact. One time I went to Jimmy Kimmel and sang along to “I Believe I Can Fly” and it was one of the most glorious moments of my life – fact.
