Music is awesome, but TV is where my heart is. So this week I decided to mix the two and highlight some TV shows to binge on that are based about the music realm from boy bands to hip hop to yesteryear.
10. California Dreams
It wasn’t always about the band, but can we deny that theme song? NOPE.
9. Smash
It wasn’t the smash hit that NBC thought it’d be, but at least it gave Broadway kids something to watch.
8. The Naked Brothers Band
Have you seen the little one lately? Let’s all pretend they never grew up and watch that one DVD they have at the 99 Cent Store.
7. American Dreams
A throwback to a more clean cut time that was still chalked full of dramarama.
6. Instant Star
Teen Nick isn’t all about Degrassi – although it should be.
5. Nashville
Country is a powerhouse that can’t and won’t be stopped.
4. Big Time Rush
I won’t lie, this show was my shit for a couple of seasons.
3. Glee
It had its major ups and major downs, but it had good intentions when it started.
2. Empire
Fox is counting its blessing with this one and I’ve seen a couple and I can see why it’s a hit.
1. Gem
YES. From the songs to the beef with The Misfits – it’s amazing. Plus, it’s a cartoon that actually followed a plot…
