It’s crunch time on Friday, meaning I have to shower and head out to see Satan and I’m also still feeling the burn of having to shell out $700 to the government – it’s funny how one can be broke but still have to pay…I’m trying not to let all that get to me and ignore the bullshit with some electronic dance beats coming my way from Axons’ Inter Vivos.
Electronic music, any facet, is not something I’m too familiar with but it’s Friday so why not get a little freaky with our musical choices today? The title track reminded me of Bjork due to the high pitched delivery, but then things started to round out in a more modern way and shape up to be compared to La Roux (remember her?). You’ll have to check out “Bastards” and “Pay Back” to hear for yourself when it comes to that.
So as my reality comes crashing down, at least I can dance my way to the end with Axons’ Inter Vivos. If you like that electronic sound that’s mixed with a pinch of indie then check out what’s coming out of Chicago from Axons now.
