It’s scary to think that our generation will have songs that make no sense to our grandchildren based upon their context. Who knows when texting will become obsolete and teleportation is the new, hot item for the youth. But that’s why songs like Pat Campo’s “JTITM” spelled out, Just Text It To Me, comes in. Coming from the EP from the same name is a healthy taste of what Pat can offer listeners musical. “JTITM” is definitely a here and now song due to techy content that has a dirty pop feel. Imagine the lead guy from soulDecision made music for a 2012 audience. Texting isn’t all you’ll get with Pat though. “Belong” has a Barenaked Ladies vibe in the music while “Something’s Peeking” has “dance floor resident” written all over it. Not into moving much, then skip ahead to the end and then slow down to take in “I Shouldn’t Say” and “Hope.” If you are a fan of pop music, then JTITM is ready for you to take it in and show it some love.
